Since our first project building the Chepsigot-Cheptebo Water Supply Project in the Kerio Valley, to one of our latest projects, the Umanyi Springs to Mtito Andei pipeline, we have been bringing reliable water supplies to communities that had none.

We have built up extensive experience in road construction, ranging from 500km of all-weather roads built in one of the world’s largest national parks, to bitumen standard roads at the base of the 77th Artillery Battalion of the Kenya Army.

With the increasing complexity and size of projects we carried out, capabilities in all areas were required. This led to the creation of a fully-equipped workshop run by and for the company. This has now also grown, and is an operation in its own right, carrying out specialised jobs for external clients. We are specially equipped to deal with orders with a very short lead time, owing to our extensive in-house workshop capacity, and proximity to a variety of relevant material suppliers.

We use only the most accurate lathes, mills and tools to ensure the best possible workmanship.

Our experienced team of engineers and designers use the very latest in Computer Aided Design, Finite Element Analysis, and Computational Fluid Dynamics software to ensure every single item that leaves the workshop stands the test of time. On the workshop floor, once a product leaves the build team, every last weld, bolt, and screw is scrutinised by our quality control team to ensure only the very best reach our valued customers.

What we do:

“Having dealt with Birdi over many years, we can attest to their quality of work, timeliness and excellent client relations, be it in terms of mechanical or civil engineering works…”
